Hello SEO World!

Hello SEO World,


First off, let me introduce myself.  My name is Andrew Stephens.  I have been studying search engine optimization as a lead generation tool for years and have recently focused on building a career around internet marketing and primarily organic marketing.  

 

I am not your typical SEO in that, I don’t look for the best or most searched keywords like most guys out there do.  What I am looking for are niche markets and keywords that produce a very high conversion rate.  After all, isn’t that what we are looking for out of our traffic…sales?
 

I look at big traffic stats with low sales as a waste of bandwidth and money.  Bandwidth is much like floorspace and I don’t need a house full of window shoppers making it difficult for the spenders to look around.

 

This blog will be dedicated to search engine optimization practices that increase conversion in local and niche markets.  These markets are still wide open and users that are searching for these keywords and phrases are ready to buy.  They are using specific terms that tell me they know what they want and all they need is someone to sell it to them.

 

These markets are eager to be penetrated and by targeting our optimization practices to specific markets, we are providing the user a gateway to the product or service that he or she is actually looking for as well as securing the sale.  This keeps Google and other search engines happy because we share the same ultimate goal; provide the user with what they are looking for in a quick and effecient manner.

 

Because these markets are “fresh meat” in terms of search engine optimization and the distributors of these products are normally already using PPC ads, I have found these markets to be the most profitable in return for both the SEO provider as well as the client.
